A simpler Windows installation

• Setup now lets you choose the installation folder instead of forcing a fixed drive.
• Desktop and Start menu shortcuts are selected by default, and either option can be cleared before installation.
• The installed app keeps its local data and saved connections when it is upgraded or removed normally.

Clearer account guidance

• The first screen is clearly labelled as the FabBeacon product account email sign-in used for membership, billing access and account recovery.
• When no Bambu connection is active, product sign-in opens the mainland-China Bambu phone and SMS flow automatically.
• FabBeacon product identity and Bambu printer access remain separate; Bambu credentials and operating records stay on the current computer.

Product and release boundaries

FabBeacon is read-only. It does not start, pause, cancel or configure printers, access printer cameras, or replace Bambu Handy. It is not a Bambu Lab product, affiliate or official service.

This installer is not code-signed, so Windows may show an unknown publisher warning. Download only from the official GitHub Release and verify the SHA-256 before opening it.

更简单的 Windows 安装

• 桌面快捷方式和开始菜单快捷方式默认勾选；两项都可以在安装前取消。
• 正常升级或卸载不会删除本机数据和已保存的拓竹连接。

更清楚的账号引导

• 首个页面明确为 FabBeacon 产品账号邮箱登录，用于会员、账单入口和账号恢复。
• 如果当前没有可用的拓竹连接，产品账号登录后会自动进入中国大陆拓竹手机号与短信验证码页面。
• FabBeacon 产品身份与拓竹打印机连接继续相互独立；拓竹凭据和运行记录保存在当前电脑。

产品与发布边界

FabBeacon 坚持只读：不会开始、暂停、取消或设置打印机，不访问打印机摄像头，也不取代 Bambu Handy。本软件不是 Bambu Lab 官方产品，也未获得其背书或授权。

此安装程序尚未代码签名，Windows 可能显示“未知发布者”。请只从官方 GitHub Release 下载，并在打开前核对 SHA-256。
