This page is for a FabBeacon Windows monitor that reads Bambu printer status. It helps separate a confirmed product boundary from a connection problem that still needs evidence. FabBeacon does not send printer control commands.
The printer list is empty
- Check the Bambu account. Open Bambu Handy and confirm that the printers are visible under the same account you intend to connect.
- Check the cloud region. A Bambu account is connected through its corresponding cloud region. If the region is wrong, the expected printers may not appear.
- Check the product account separately. FabBeacon sign-in handles the product account and membership; the Bambu account provides the printer connection. They are not the same account.
- Wait for the first status. Keep the Windows computer awake and FabBeacon running while the connection receives its first update.
If Bambu Handy shows the printers but FabBeacon does not after these checks, the cause is not established by the empty list alone. Record the app version, Windows environment, account region and time of the check before contacting support.
The status looks old or does not change
- Open printer details and read the last update time before relying on a percentage or state.
- Confirm the computer is awake, the app is still running and the internet connection is available.
- Compare the state with the printer or your usual control tool. FabBeacon is a read-only view, so it cannot pause, cancel or start a print.
- Separate an old snapshot, a printer that has not reported yet and an explicitly offline printer. They need different follow-up checks.
A displayed percentage is not proof that a print is currently progressing. When a decision affects a physical print, confirm it in your normal printer workflow or at the machine.
Local history has gaps
FabBeacon Plus history and production reports describe what the Windows app observed while it was monitoring. Computer sleep, a complete app exit or a lost connection can leave gaps. The app does not backfill a complete official Bambu history, and a recorded task count is not a count of physical parts.
Windows shows an unknown publisher
The current v0.5.2 installer is not code-signed, so Windows may show an unknown publisher or SmartScreen warning. Download only from the official Windows download page, compare the SHA-256 with the matching GitHub Release, and stop if the source or checksum differs.
What to send to support
Open Settings → Diagnostics & feedback, export redacted diagnostics and review the file before sharing it. Email [email protected] with the app version, Windows environment, account region, what you expected, what you saw and when it happened. Never send passwords, verification codes, access tokens or full device serial numbers.
